whenever i change my nick it always disconnect me and return to my hotmail user.

Is it a know bug?

Seems to be working for me.

What are you doing in order to change your nick?

Also, can you type:
/set %msn.debug 1

then try to change your nickname again, then paste to me the contents of the @Messenger window?

This will help me fix it. :)

i did try with the dialog window and the command line
and i setup a command on connect too
but every time my nick isn't the same as my username i got disconnected
it can take 5mins or 15mins or even 2 days before i get disconnected
but most of the time i got disconnected every 5 minutes
