mIRC 6.17

Post by andyc »

mIRC 6.17 has just been released...and it supports SSL connections!

Stay tuned for a dll free version of MSN for mIRC. The new version will work for all users, no more winhttp errors.

Keep an eye out. :)

Not at all.

Hello.

I updated mIRC with this version, but the SSL error is still there.
I'm sure « the SSL error » is enough to understand, but I copy this as I want to be sure...

v3.50
*** Connecting...
*** Authorising via SSL... (this may take a while)
*** Disconnected

Just to notice.

Have a nice day,

- Shaelind.

I forgot to precise that I installed and registered the winhttp5.dll file, and it doesn't change anything.

There is approximately a 60 second pause here

Code: Select all

*** Disconnected
I have installed and registered the winhttp5.dll, can't think of anymore information I can provide but if there is anything else you need from me just ask! :)
