annoying away malfunction

Hi
the syncronize irc and msn away's system works nice for me, but when I come from away, it's all OK for 2 minutes then it always activates the away system again from time to time (I think it's every 2 minutes) and it's really annoying.
I disabled the option and still happens sometimes :S
how to fix that?
